Campground Host
Kampfire Campground, Inn and Entertainment is seeking a self motivated individual with excellent social skills. Must be 18 years or older (as we will be serving beer & wine). Must be available weekends and holidays through October 15th. A minimum of 24 hours per week, paid hourly plus tips.
Responsibilities include:
Provide friendly and excellent customer service
Keeping the campground clean and tidy
Opening and closing the Store & Ice Cream Stand
Cashing customers out in the Store and Ice Cream Stand
Managing Season Passes for the pool & mini golf
Taking reservations for the campground and inn
Checking campers and Inn guests in / out
Answering the phone
Scoop ice cream when slow and during curb season
Cleaning Inn Rooms as needed or supervising others to complete this task
Inn laundry
Daily cleaning of public spaces

Ice Cream Host
Kampfire Campground, Inn and Entertainment is seeking a personable individual that likes children. Must be 16 years or older. Must be available weekends and holidays through October 15th. A minimum of 24 hours per week, paid hourly plus tips.
Responsibilities include:
Take and execute accurate ice cream orders
Enter ALL customer purchases into Square
Provide proper change to customers paying with cash
Clean all equipment as scheduled
Keep a neat, organized and sanitary working environment
Provide friendly and excellent customer service
Answer the telephone with proper greeting
Ensure golf balls are stocked
Ensure store, pool area, mini golf course, pavillion and all areas outside of the creamy stand and store remain neat, tidy and clean
Complete all side work properly and timely
Take trash and recycling to dumpsters
Daily cleaning of Bathhouse and public restrooms

Clean Team
Kampfire Campground, Inn and Entertainment is seeking a neat and detail oriented person. Must be 16 years or older. Must be available weekends and holidays through October 15th. Hours between 10am-3pm as needed, paid hourly plus tips.

Clean Bathhouse
Clean Public Restrooms
Clean Club House
Clean Arcade
Dust, sweep and mop Store
Keep common spaces of the campground clean
Clean and tidy the Inn at Kampfires as required
Laundry for the Inn, treat for stains, wash, dry and fold
Follow task sheets daily
Be motivated to clean as needed beyond the task sheets

Groundskeeper
This position covers all Whetstone Station Associates properties and facilities, currently including, but not limited to Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery, Kampfires Campground, Inn and Entertainment Complex, and the Whetstone Craft Beer brewery complex. Seeking a self motivated individual to work efficiently and independently. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including some weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
Responsibilities include the following:
Seasonal opening of properties and facilities as necessary, including Kampfires, Whetstone Station Bier Garten and Patio.
Trim trees and bushes at all locations
Remove leaves from all locations
Responsible for lawn and garden maintenance at all properties, including but not limited to mowing, trimming, weeding, transplanting, mulching, edging etc.
Provide routine maintenance, fluid checks and changes of fluids and filters on all equipment including but not limited to Ranger, lawn mowers, tractors, bus, truck, etc.
Daily maintenance and upkeep of the miniature golf course and greens at Kampfires.
Daily maintenance of campsites and grounds at Kampfires
Daily swimming pool cleanliness, skimming, vacuuming and balancing / maintenance of the chemical levels at Kampfires
Moving trash and recycling from small cans to dumpsters at Kampfires.
Cleaning fire pits at Kampfires
Spray bee and wasps nests as needed
Drive the bus for camper outings and assist as need with other camper activities at Kampfires.
Setup and breakdown events in the amphitheatre, pavilion, pool deck and clubhouse at Kampfires.
Clean grills as needed and fill propane tanks at Kampfires.
Collect and dispose of waste, and assists in keeping outside premises in an orderly condition at all properties..
Maintaining a tidy and organized workshop, storage and tool space.
Any related task instructed by a supervisor.

Handyperson / Maintenance

Seeking a self motivated individual to work efficiently and independently. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including some weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.
Responsibilities include the following:
Maintain all properties and facilities to Vermont Department of Health Codes.
Maintain all properties and facilities to owners standards.
Perform all work safely and exercise all required and reasonable safety measures to protect yourself, other staff and guests.
Complete tasks on the maintenance lists across all locations.
Complete small projects within your training and capabilities including but not limited to small carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical.
Provide maintenance and assist in minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC and building systems; may perform routine carpentry work.
Maintain light fixtures / light bulbs at all properties.
Cleaning and organizing projects as assigned.
Upkeep of all painted surfaces, and new painting projects as assigned.
