Strolling of the Heifers Parade and Festival

Parade starts at 10am on Main Street in Downtown Brattleboro, just a short 4 mile drive from Kampfires Campground.  Have you ever heard of the Running of the Bulls in Spain, well here in Vermont we do thing a little differently we are a peaceful state that celebrates local agriculture and farming so we “Stroll our Cows” down Main Street no running allowed.  This is easily the biggest event of the year in Brattleboro.  When the parade ends follow it to the Brattleboro Common and Brattleboro Retreat grounds and enjoy local craft vendors, local food vendors, meet the cows from the parade, get the kids faces painted, jump in a bounce house, watch the NECCA circus school perform, and most importantly have a Whetstone Craft Beer in the Beer Garden!  For more details visit www.strollingoftheheifers.com
